Bring your wares to the Farmers' Market
The City Market concentrates on the vending of food and produce. Arts and crafts vending opportunities are limited. Vendors who have dependably participated in the market for the last three years will be given preferential consideration in the assignment of sites.
Every Spring, The Rotary Club of the City helps us celebrate everything we love about the City with family and friends.
The City Festival is a FREE, day-long, family-friendly, fun-filled event geared towards families with children 10 years old and younger. Families enjoy FREE admission, FREE carnival rides, FREE face painting, FREE live music and much more! While you are there, you can purchase delicious food and drink from an array of local restaurants and eateries. So grab your friends and head out for a day of FREE, wholesome family fun!
The 2020 Festival originally planned for April 25th has been postponed indefinitely, due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Rocking the rooftop each Spring & Fall.
The City's Rooftop Rhythms is a free music series hosted two times a year on the rooftop at The Mall. This popular event is the City's way of giving back to the community and providing a safe and fun experience for all. Join us! Enjoy the music, entertainment, and great food by local Forest Acres restaurants and much more!

Due to public health risks associated with large gatherings during this time of global pandemic the City Council, in consultation with the City Restaurant and Merchant Association (FARMA), cancelled the 2020 Sweet Seasons event. We look forward to resuming in 2021.
Come celebrate the holiday season with us!
Sweet Seasons, our community Christmas tree lighting ceremony, happens every year in early December. What started as a small community event in the parking lot at city hall has grown into a large celebration with thousands of attendees held each year. Enjoy live music, food and drink vendors, drawings for door prizes and even an appearance from Santa. Our city council, led by the mayor, will turn on the city's holiday decorations and officially kick off the season in the City.
Admission is always free and Sweet Seasons is a family-friendly event.
The 17th annual Christmas tree lighting is planned for December 2021 (more information TBA).
